The Prometeo Quartet welcomes a new member, violist Danusha Waskiewicz, to the ensemble. Danusha is an inspiring and creative musician, with an impressive career both as soloist and chamber/orchestra performer, having been previously, above all, winner of principal viola position of Berliner Philharmoniker Orchestra. We are deeply honored to welcome her in the family and can't wait to share her with audiences.
Danusha takes the place of violist Massimo Piva, who was with the Prometeo for eight intense and enriching years, contributing to the growth of the quartet and now back focusing on other projects.
The newly reconstituted Prometeo Quartet will have its first official performance at Bologna Festival on September 24. Looking forward to present Danusha to all our friends and audiences,
Giulio, Aldo and Francesco
